Carp Expert Sential Radio Bite Alarm Set
The radio bite alarm set is available in configurations of 2, 3, or 4 electric bite alarms, plus of course, it comes with a wireless transmitter-receiver device in a practical plastic case.
The electric bite alarms can be operated independently without a radio connection. The range of the central unit is 150-250 meters. The central unit is activated by sliding the button on the top to the right. On this device, you can control the volume with the V button (volume). The T (tone) button allows you to adjust the pitch. At the top of the device, there are four different colored (green, orange, blue, red) LEDs, which correspond to the main LEDs on the electric bite alarms. This will help identify which alarm has triggered when you receive a bite.
The electric bite alarms are turned on by sliding the button located at the bottom of the device to the right or left. If you slide the button to the left, the main LED lights up and the basic ringtone sounds. The main LED will turn off after 15 seconds, ensuring economical battery usage. When a bite occurs, the main LED and the bite LED located underneath will light up, as well as the 3 blue LEDs positioned in the middle section.
You cannot miss which alarm activated, as it is very visually communicated to us. If you slide the switch on the bite alarm to the right, all previously described functions will continue to operate, plus the night LED lighting will turn on as well. This is a blue LED on the right side of the device, which helps to locate it in the dark.
On the bite alarm, you will find 3 control knobs. The V button (volume) allows you to adjust the volume. The T (tone) button lets you set the pitch so that the bite alarms sound different. The S button allows you to adjust the sensitivity of the device as you wish.
When the wind blows and the weighted swinger moves, it is incredibly annoying that the electric bite alarm constantly beeps. On these devices, you can adjust the sensitivity from a 1-2 cm pull to a rough 10 cm movement. This function can often be invaluable! The bite alarms have a jack input for swingers!
